Toby Huntington-Whiteley makes TV debut

After taking the modelling world by storm earlier this year, Toby Huntington-Whiteley has now landed his first ever TV gig.

Following in his famous sister Rosie’s footsteps, Toby is the star of the new Jacamo TV advert which launched today, Monday 9th March.

24-year-old Toby set pulses racing in January by modelling the menswear retail brand’s SS15 collection, showing that like his older sister, he’s not afraid of showing off his body.

And with Toby’s hunky frame making sure his first modelling job was a success; the brand was quick to snap him up for their spring advert.

Jacamo spokesperson Cath Ryan, said: “This is an extremely exciting time for Jacamo as we concentrate more on fashion and what makes men look and feel good.”

Joining Toby in the advert are four other men, each representing and celebrating a different shape and style. Filmed in Manchester, they are seen running in a park, hanging out in a coffee shop, visiting a barber shop and searching through a vinyl record collection.

Cath added “Toby was really excited to be involved and, with genetics already on his side, we knew he’d be a natural.”

Featured in the advert is a combination of fashion, comfort and style to suit every taste including an eye-catching yellow mac (£50), pair of white Superga pumps (£45) and check shirt (£65) while Toby sports a monochrome T-shirt (£15) and navy blue bomber jacket (£40).

The campaign is a play on the word ‘Extra’, encouraging talk about men’s fashion in a new way and communicating the benefits of the brand by celebrating all body shapes from height and broadness to shoe size.

The Jacamo collection is designed to fit everyone from size S to 5XL and incorporates trend led pieces as well as basics, such as t-shirts, shorts and summer knitwear. It also includes seasonal staples necessary for every man’s wardrobe ahead of summer.
