Madame Allsorts MTV Anti-twerk Hits Amsterdam's Red Light District!

Is the anti-twerk the answer to the over sexualisation of the music industry?

Madame Allsorts certainly thinks so. So much so that she's teamed up with the ladies of Amsterdam’s red light district today to perform the first ever fashion show in a red light window.

Twerking-a-plenty, as a protest, naturally, the fashion show complete with foam fingers caused a stir, and provided a little alternative entertainment as the MTV Europe music awards got underway in Amsterdam.

So what was the point, we hear you cry? Well, to provide a positive example to the youth of the nation, of course. Offering a statement as to why women can't always rely on their sexuality to get them by, Madame Allsorts is all for creativity and feminine power.

It was an anti-twerk most definitely, but an anti-twerk with a heart. Even women of the crimson windows seemed convinced - donning the empowering designs, which depict Robin Thicke's favourite model as a steak-flavoured meal, and see Miley Cyrus swinging on a meat fragranced banger - they posed defiantly with their twerking fingers crossed.

Whether you're on board or not, you can't deny that it is a scene that has gone unseen previously, and if anyone's going to protest against prostitution, a red light district window seems a highly appropriate place to do so.

If you fancy wearing the news then Madame Allsorts is your go-to-girl for on the nail, on the money, current pop culture designs!
