Last night at the Museo Ferragamo in Florence a grand opening inaugurated “The Amazing Shoemaker - Fairy Tales and Legends about Shoes and Shoemakers”.
The exhibition explores the role that shoes play in fairy tales, myths and legends whilst telling the real life story of Salvatore Ferragamo, in which fashion, art and dreams intertwined in perfect harmony. The exhibition is also showcasing White Shoe, a beautiful 22 minute animated short film written and directed by Mauro Borrelli which tells Salvatore Ferragamo’s story.
