TK Maxx St Mary Axe launch party

VIP Celeb Party Draws in the Crowds

New Store Opens at St Mary Axe

City workers queued from 7am to mark the opening of TK Maxx’s new store at St Mary Axe, its 45th store to open in London*.

The opening followed an intimate preview evening as soapstars, television presenters and supermodels got a sneak peak of the store’s wide range of designer brands and high street labels for up to 60% off RRP.

Actors Will Mellor, Terri Dwyer and Jeremy Edwards sipped on champagne as they discussed their return to Hollyoaks.

Presenter and Lord Sugar’s former apprentice, Kate Walsh, arrived with Channel 5’s Sian Welby and MTV’s Phil Clifton.

Winner of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model Letitia Herod and model Jay Camillari showed their style as they browsed the store’s Gold Label Department, which is packed with couture bargains.

The TK Maxx concept is simple. TK Maxx buyers shop the world all year round working direct with designers and negotiating great deals to bring customers famous brands at a fraction of the normal retail price.

A typical TK Maxx store stocks an average 50,000 items with daily deliveries bringing up to 10,000 new items to store every week so customer will always find a constantly fresh and exciting mix of top brands and great quality at the lowest prices, every time they visit.

Spokesperson Helen Gunter on behalf of TK Maxx, commented: “Celebrities were out in force at our VIP preview event and we were so pleased to see so many treasure seekers wanting to get first glimpse of our new store packed full of exciting designer brands and labels for less.”
