agnès b. is pleased to announce the arrival of our latest Artist T-shirt collaboration with New York artist Ryan McGinness. McGinness regularly wears white agnès b. shirts while painting in his studio and it was only fitting that he re-created a painted splattered shirt for us. The design he created will be used on two agnès b. men’s items - a white button down and a white long sleeve t-shirt.
about the shirts
The Ryan McGinness Studio Shirts are trompe l’oeil garments made to look like shirts worn by the artist while at work in his studio. They are from McGinness’ Residue series of works which also includes squeegee trophies, used silkscreens, and wigs of the artist’s hair.
Shirts and t shirts are available in store from mid December.
