PRIVE is a men's brand inspired by technique, art, and Designer Ryan Taylor's own personal style. The first collection will be titled "Holy Water" and is represented by pieces that are handcrafted from an array of fine materials including lambskin, Italian suede, European cotton, Python, and lampo zippers.
The brand's philosophy is based on the motto: "Excellence is the bare minimum." Taylor says "This brand was crafted by hand using the best fabrics and craftsmanship over a six month period."
The name for the line, PRIVE, was chosen from the French word for privacy. It was adopted to represent the pursuit of timeless, quality garments that will never over-saturate the market. The title of the collection, Holy Water, represents the cleansing of one's sense of style. It challenges the thought process attached to fashion; having no seasons, only capsules of amazing, quality pieces. During PRIVE's development, the underlying focus was the idea "Whats seen at a distance will always peak one's interest."
"Through research and trial in the industry, I have learned that fashion is dictated by these principles: craftsmanship, detail and branding", says Taylor.
Ryan Taylor is a 21-year-old designer from Houston, Texas and has previously designed for celebrities such as Chris Brown, Tyga and Dawn Richard.
Announcements will be made in the coming weeks regarding the availability of PRIVE for purchase online and in boutiques.
