Prabal Gurung For Target: A Love Story

Discount chain Target Corp. is partnering with luxe designer Prabal Gurung for its next limited-edition collection aiming to bring high fashion to the masses.

Gurung, who has dressed the likes of Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, and Kate Middleton, designed a capsule collection expected to be chock-full of the bold colors and stylish prints he is known for.

The 80-piece collection is to include clothes, accessories and footwear, with prices ranging from $12.99 to $199.99. The items are to go on sale online and in stores on Feb. 10.

"Target’s partnership with Prabal Gurung embodies our commitment to bringing great design to our guests at truly affordable prices," said Trish Adams, Target's senior vice president of apparel and accessories. "This collaboration enables Target's guests to shop a beautiful, feminine assortment from a modern visionary."

The American designer born in Nepal has made a name for himself for crafting clothes with a mix of fabrics that veer from sleek to romantic. He's also designing items for this year's holiday collections available at Target and Nordstr
