NYLA Boutique launcing exclusive Christopher Lee Sauve Collection

Online fashion and accessory retailer, NYLABoutique.com is proud to launch their collaboration with fearless fashion designer, Christopher Lee Sauvé, entitled ‘Scandal’. The exclusive collection, launching today, features a range of unisex t-shirts with a mix of provocative images and witty captions.

Christopher Lee Sauvé is more than just a fashion designer, he represents a new generation of pop artists. Breathing new life into pop art techniques, Sauvé uses current events surrounding the lives of celebrities to bring the public tongue-in-cheek fashion enjoyment, and this scandalous collection is no different. The collection of printed t-shirts revolve around recent famous fashion scandals, such as Lady Gagas’ meat dress at the Video Music Awards.

Sauvé previously worked as a designer at Diana von Furstenberg and as a freelance Art Director at Alexander Wang. However he hit the media map when he debuted the t-shirt pleading “Save Anna” after rumours started circulating that Anna Wintour was to be replaced at American Vogue. Next came a lawsuit from uber stylist Rachel Zoe for Sauvé’s shirt that said “Bananas”, which Ms. Zoe had apparently copyrighted after her reality show launched.

On his inspiration for the collection, Christopher said “I think of scandals and tabloid papers as being a huge part of our culture. This collection idea was based on morals and choices that have been made that have then been blown up to crazy proportions.”

It was announced earlier this year that NYLA Boutique were planning a scandalous collection with an infamous designer. Already stockists of the Save Anna, McQueen tribute and Fashion Police tee’s (to name just a few), Sauvé seemed like the perfect fit for their collaboration.

NYLA Boutique said of the collection; “We are thrilled and extremely excited to be working with such a talented designer as Chris. Different from anything else available on the market, we feel honoured that he has chosen our brand to collaborate with and show his amazing new collection.”

Priced at £60, the collection is available online at http://www.nylaboutique.com/
