HARRODS SHOE SALON LAUNCH PARTY

During London Fashion Week there are lots of shows to attend and parties, but this season the only place to be and the hottest ticket was the Harrods Shoe Salon launch party.

So with my invite (pictured above) on the 22nd of February I headed off to the Harrods store for the party.  Upon arriving on the first floor of the store where the Salon is located you can see just how vast the lounge is and in this unique space packed with shoes in such an artistic way.

I am completely blown away, this is heaven for any women who will certainly think she has died and literally gone to heaven.......... shoes, shoes, shoes!!!

Myself wearing John Smedley with Sophie Ellis-Bextor

The list of designers is an endless one and I would be typing for days if I was to mention them all but here are few (here we go)

Christian Louboutin, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Attwood, Prada, Kurt Geiger, Fendi, I could go on and on but you name it the Salon has it and the best part is in the most luxurious surroundings making  it a must stop on any shopping trip.

Florrie and The Voguettes

THE PARTY

WOW! where do I start? as a seasoned party person on the London Party scene this one goes down as one of the best! a guest list to make party planners wish, to die for cocktails with the hottest gin of the the moment 'Edgerton' and an atmosphere that made you want to stand back and just soak up.

Shoe Designer Beatrix Ong and Prince Cassius

'Hook the shoe'

Shoe Designer Patrick Cox

Guests on the night included George Lamb, Marigay Mckee, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Patrick Cox, Harold Tilman, Jo Wood, Eric Lanlard (who with Patrick Cox made the awesome cup cakes we ate), Beatrix Ong, Prince Cassius, Charles Ampadu, Edie Campbell, Emilia Fox, Pixie Geldof, Rosamund Pike  and many many more.

During the night we were entertained with music by Florrie and The Voguettes who were awesome and there were also great party games such as wait for this not hook the duck but hook the shoe where guests had the chance to win some amazing prizes such as money off vouchers and pairs of shoes.

All in all this was one of those nights that will stay with me for a longtime, I still have my invite which in itself is a work of art.  The shoe Salon is a must stop when out looking for those perfect shoes everything and every brand on one floor under one roof!

Check out the Shoe Salon at Harrods in-store on the first floor or visit http://www.harrods.com/ where there is a selection of shoes available.

Double thumbs up from the Clotheshorse and a 12/10!!
