'I'm NOT going to rehab,' insists Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina

Family drama: Whitney Houston with her only child, Bobbi Kristina

Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is denying claims she is checking into rehab after pictures surfaced that allegedly showed her snorting lines of cocaine.

Her famous mother, who has struggled with her own battle against drug addiction, is said to be desperate for the 18-year-old to seek treatment.

'Excuse me,' Bobbi Kristina tweeted yesterday, 'but I’d like to say that I am NOT going to rehab? I’m perfectly healthy and I am not addicted to anything but life.'

The National Enquirer, who first published the scandalous pictures earlier this month, report that the 47-year-old singer has attempted an intervention of sorts.

The publication quotes a source as saying: 'She called a family meeting and sobbed as she told Krissi, "I don’t want to lose you.'"

'Whitney called Bobby [Brown], and they agreed that Krissi needs rehab,' the friend is quoted as saying.
They also agreed on a tough-love move to shake Krissi up, and Whitney returned a Lexus convertible that she’d bought for Krissi’s birthday.'

Bobbi Kristina, who is Whitney and Bobby Brown's only child, was still 17 when the pictures were taken at a friend’s house in the town of Alpharetta, Georgia, where she lives with her Grammy-award-winning mother.

The Enquirer magazine claimed at the time that she regularly indulges in marijuana and ‘guzzles beer and gets smashed on Everclear, a potent grain alcohol’.

Bobbi Kristina admitted that it was her in the photos – but claimed she had been set up.

Whatever happens I wish her luck and hope you decides to take a different road!
