Crombie to move into International Wholesale

Luxury British heritage brand Crombie has announced that it is returning to selling its product to the wholesale market. This winter both Selfridges and Harrods have stocked luxurious Crombie overcoats, and as a response to the sales success Crombie have decided to continue with their national and international wholesale growth strategy. Crombie are currently booking appointments with appropriate buyers to view the collections.


Michael Rankine, Head of Retail and Wholesale at Crombie, said 'Crombie is delighted with the result of its wholesale venture this winter and we are looking forward to developing relationships with stockists of a similar luxury calibre both here in the UK and Internationally'.

Crombie has a long history of wholesale stretching back as far as the 1800s, when the Crombie brand name was sold as far afield as Canada and even Japan. In 1880 Crombie entered the Russian market with the "Russian Coat" - a heavy pile coat specially designed to shield wearers from the harsh Russian winter.
