Last night I was privileged to attend the event which was an amazing to celebrate a great product and new partnership ..... Here's the scoop



Uniqlo hosted an exclusive party at their Flagship store on London’s Oxford St, hosting one of the most exciting events in the London fashion and music calendar this Autumn.
The event featured a special performance by Violet, Pixie Geldof’s exciting new band.

The evening feted the now iconic Heattech collection, whilst also celebrating their partnership with Vogue – as seen in the December Issue of the magazine. The shoot will also run in editions of GQ and Glamour.
The event was attended by some of today’s top fashion and music celebrities.

Ted Baker launching Ted's Sweet Shoppe pop-up in Selfridges next month

Ted Baker is introducing Ted’s Sweet Shoppe, a new pop-up store launching 1 November in Selfridges stores nationwide. Showcasing a range of accessories, Ted’s Sweet Shoppe will feature the shopper, tote, clutch and make-up bags, jotters, iPad and laptop cases, as well as Ted’s ‘Sweet Feet’ watermelon scented ballet pumps, all available in a range of shades. In addition, customers will be able to select items from a sweet cart filled with purses, key rings and jewellery in a variety of colours. The new pop-up will be located at Selfridges London Oxford Street, Manchester Trafford, Manchester Exchange Square and Birmingham Bullring.

URBAN OUTFITTERS COLLABORATES WITH LONDON BASED SHOE BRAND FINSK

Julia Lundsten, the designer behind FINSK has designed a capsule shoe collection for Urban Outfitters A/W11-12. FINSK and Urban Outfitters have collaborated to produce a shoe collection which follows the bold, architectural and clean lines that are indicative of the FINSK label but at a more affordable price point.

The collection is reflective of Lundsten’s childhood inspirations with an architect father and interior design mother she uses contrasting leathers and wooden sculpted heels. The natural beauty of locally sourced leather is a significant component of each collection, with each pair of shoes primarily being handcrafted in an atelier in Brazil.

The collection captures the mood of the city, inspired by graphic, avant-garde, shapes of the urban landscape and its many intriguing inhabitants. FINSK’s iconic wooden wedge makes an appearance, featuring soft leathers with gathered, rouched detailed uppers, raw edges and wood, combined with bright coloured EVA highlights, to create a sharp contrast in texture and material. The softest leather in black, charcoal and grey with pop highlights of cyan and orange mixed with polished and colour-washed wood.

The collection consists of 5 styles ranging from £190 to £250 and our hero piece is Thora, the simple leather zip up ankle boot with a cutout wood wedge that creates a really impactful silhouette. Also featured in the collection are: a high heel peep-toe, a flat ankle boot with a built in platform to create height and comfort, and a mid-high daily wedge ankle boot with contrasting stitch detail.
