Alice + Olivia launches boutique in Harvey Nichols

Womenswear brand Alice + Olivia has announced that it will be launching its largest boutique in the UK at Harvey Nichols in London from mid-October. Situated on the 3rd floor, Harvey Nichols will stock Alice + Olivia shoes for the first time this season as well as the AW12 collection. Celebrity fans of the brand include Cheryl Cole, Blake Lively and Jessica Alba.

Who says you can't look hot during pregnancy? well take a leaf out of Jessica Alba's pregnancy wardrobe.... here she at the Premiere of "Spy Kids, All the Time in the World 4D, wearing this Dolce & Gabbana Maxi dress with star print... on trend and hot for AW 11....

Two of the hottest colours for SS 11 are purple and orange and best suited when worn together as colour blocks. I read in a magazine that we have Cheryl Cole to thank for this trend after she wore that horrendous outfit for X Factor USA, I don't think so this trend started months ago as we all know on the runway.


The started with the likes of Jil Sander and Gucci oh used these colours on their collection and now with celebrities such as Cheryl, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lopez being seen on the red carpet I thought I would also jump on the bandwagon.

MIU MIU COCKTAIL PARTY/DINNER STORE LAUNCH

Where: Miu Miu store, Bond Street, London

One of the hottest tickets of recent events was the Miu Miu Store launch and I was lucky enough to be invited along.  The night certainly lived up to what you would expect from a fashion heavyweight.

The night was in two parts with a private dinner and cocktail party to specially invited guests.  The champagne flowed and beautiful canapes of fois gras, lobster and steak all being served to A-list, Fashions Elite and notable figures of society.

Whilst there I took a time out to look around the store whilst bumping into Jessica Alba, Hilary Alexander, Mark Ronson, just a few guests at this 1920s themed party and whilst doing so I checked out the beautiful clothes that were on display and models.(see pictures below)

All in all the night was a great success and I would like to take this time to thank the Miu Miu at Prada press team for inviting me and putting together a Great night!
