Gotland - the island of the north

Found within Northern Scandinavia, Gotland is an island of contrast. Bathed in magical light and located in the middle of the sea the rugged yet beautiful landscape is steeped in history with the long sandy beaches, elegant yachts and relaxed days in the sun, inspiring J.Lindeberg's Spring/Summer 2012 collection.


  
The collection us very clean cut, modern and ideal for city life. Great colour palettes White, beige, green and olive adorn this easy to wear collection. Check blazers are winners aswell as the nautical themed part of the collection which is both stylish and inspiring. Knitwear I'd bold striped with green on beige amongst others which beside the well tailored blazers could in itself form the base of the Lindeberg man's wardrobe. Lots of linen, patch work jeans and enough of my rambling and check out the collection. For me if the need arises I would have no problem styling and recommending the collection.







Verdict: topped AW 11 which was hot so 9 out of 10 practically perfect!!

Known for the golfing lines J Lindeberg are really forging ahead with their collection and this look I totally adore and shows that they are more than just golfing clothes.....

But the company is so much more - yes of course they are still a market leader with their golf collections but the fashion collections such as this AW 11 collection shows you just how far they have come...... RJ Rogensky returns for the J.Lindeberg Autumn / Winter 2011 camapign, joined this season by the stunning Dorothea Barth. The campaign which is Art Directed by Jorgen Ringstrand and shot by Andreas Sjodin is inspired by the ‘The True North’ which was used as a reference point by Head Designer Jessy Heuvelink for both collections. Styled by Lalle Johnson the Autumn / Winter 2011 campaign makes its debut in select international titles.
