COACH LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION WITH FASHION BLOGGER, EMILY JOHNSTON

COACH LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION WITH FASHION BLOGGER
EMILY JOHNSTON OF FASHION FOIE GRAS

Last night I had the pleasure of attending and  supporting fellow blogger Emily Johnston of the Fashion Foie Gras Blog for the launch of the amazing bag they have collaborated on....

The bag itself is not only attractive but practical and as you will see inside the bag the sectioning helps to organise your life practically..... Check out the info below...

Congratulations Emily and many more to come!!!!

Coach Inc., the leading American accessories label, today announces an exclusive collaboration with fashion blogger Emily Johnston of Fashion Foie Gras. The launch was celebrated last night with a party held in the brand’s London flagship store, 41 New Bond Street.

Emily Johnston

Originally from the United States and now based in London, Emily has been a fan of the iconic American brand since she was a child. Witnessing Emily’s passion for the brand, Coach approached her about a design collaboration and invited her to its New York headquarters to design a bag.

Emily and the Coach design team wanted to create a bag aimed at fashion bloggers. It needed to be functional and useful, as well as aesthetically chic and contemporary. A large tote shape was chosen and key details incorporated, such as padded pocket on the side to hold a digital SLR camera and a sectioned compartment to store flat shoes. The main body of the bag is natural canvas trimmed with leather, complemented by central vertical stripes in blue and white – dominant colors of both the American and British flags. While originally intended to appeal to Emily’s blogging peers, the stylish design is suited to any individual who lives a life full of technology and travel.

Emily said, “Since being given the opportunity to design a bag with Coach, my feet haven't touched the ground! Coach is the pinnacle of luxury and sophistication. Designing a bag with a brand that I have always held in such high regard has been the most nerve-racking, but also the most exhilarating, experience of my life. I couldn't be prouder or more pleased with what we have produced."

Jason Weisenfeld, Senior Vice President of Global Brand Communications and Collaborations, said, “This year marks our 70th anniversary and as we celebrate our rich heritage, we also embrace fresh and innovative new ideas. We are delighted to have collaborated with Fashion Foie Gras on this project.”

Coach is a leading American designer of fine accessories and gifts for women and men, including handbags, women’s and men’s small leathergoods, business cases, weekend and travel accessories, footwear, watches, outerwear, scarves, sunwear, jewelry, fragrance and related accessories.
