This Autumn sees the launch of Brazilian footwear brand Movel which draws inspiration from culture and the Brazilian movement.
For a debut brand Movel has teamed up with BrazilIan artists Brazilian artists Bruno Nunes Coelho and André Coelho Moreira, who have created unique and joyful prints, inspired by the rhythms of Bossa Nova, Axé and Forró for the shoes.
Each season Movel will be collaborated with more up and coming Brazilian artists working on limited edition collections.
Acclaimed filmmaker Mollie Mills has also created a series of short films which gives you more details on the launch and collaborations
Movel's aim is to channel the spirit of Brazil and bring Ginga to the UK... Ginga is a concept, a movement of fluidity. The shoes are designed to encourage this and make the feet move more freely and this is showcased in the film through dance and football and of course done in the Brazillian way through music and weaving footwork of street footballers
