Following 6 months of refurbishment November 2015 sees the re-launch of the iconic Cobella Day Spa. Nestled within the Flagship Cobella Salon this urban sanctuary provides customers with an extensive range of luxurious beauty treatments, from massages to facials plus new services including cosmeceutical treatments.
Cobella were one of the first hair salons in the UK to launch the day-spa concept over 15 years ago, offering their customers additional treatments outside their award wining hair services. This autumn sees Cobella re-launch the spa following extensive refurbishment to continue to offer their clients the best of both hair and beauty services.
Cobella appointed Lauren Matthews Interiors to redesign the spa; the new design introduces calming elements using natural materials such as timber paneling, natural slate tiling and naturalistic planting as well as atmospheric lighting that compliments and highlights the new design, creating a perfect oasis from the hustle and bustle of Central London. Lauren Matthews commented: “Nature provides us with a sense of calm and relaxation and I feel this has been achieved at Cobella Spa.” In a stark contrast to the natural materials the designer has used luxurious upholstery on the sumptuous day beds that also offers clients an element of privacy with the full height wrap-around arm.
The new refurbishment also sees the launch of the Cobella VIP Room, a completely private hair spa for special bookings including special occasions, VIP’s and anyone wanting a more private pampering session. Any of the hair services offered in the salon can be booked in the VIP Room.
Treatments at the spa will include Bespoke Cobella Facials, performed by their highly skilled therapists using a unique tailored approach to each clients skin. The Bespoke Facials use such technologies as Galvanic Current Facial Rollers, which have a deep cleansing and hydrating effect; High Frequency electrical currents, which has been shown to enhance blood circulation, increase collagen and elastin production and eliminate toxins and acne causing bacteria and medical grade oxygen that replenishes skin. The Cobella ethos is that each client is unique so their skin concerns will be also, therefore every facial needs to be carefully considered and personalized to give the best results possible. Cobella therapists also use luxury brand Guinot and enzyme and propolis based skin care Epicuren in their treatments, these skincare ranges are also available to purchase in the Cobella Salon.
Another treatment available at the spa is the Cobella Signature Oxygen Facial treatment, which was designed under the guidance of Dr David Downey, the leading oxygen therapy expert. This treatment revitalises every skin cell in the face through a process of expert exfoliation and hydration for surface improvement and the infusion of pure oxygen for inner nourishment and increased strength to the collagen and elastin fibres. The oxygen facial uses dry oxygen to propel a high concentration of moisturising nutrient based oils onto the skin. This facial as well as literally plumping up the skin instantly it detoxes and can heal scarred skin tissue.
With the new spa, Cobella also launch the calming Epicuren Vegan Facial, which can be custom tailored to suit all skin types. The Green Tea and Seaweed Soothing Mask combines the finest nutrient-rich ocean and seaweed extracts with green tea to detoxify and replenish the skin. This facial also showcases the PhytO2 Hydration Serum, a 100% vegan formula that replenishes moisture and supports the skin in performing at a more youthful level. This clean, refreshing facial therapy soothes and restores overexposed and sensitive skin. The new spa brings about the first phase of refurbishment to Cobella’s Flagship, the next phase will see the hair salon refurbished to launch in 2016.
