To celebrate the first anniversary of Harrods Shoe Heaven, Harrods has invited 20 leading shoe brands to design a limited-edition sneaker as part of the exclusive Catch Me If You Can range.
Exhibited from Saturday 5th September on the Fifth Floor, the new collection celebrates fashion’s newfound love for embellished sneakers.
“From the opulence of Dolce & Gabbana’s jewelled running shoes and Valentino’s gold camouflage trainers to the graphic minimalism of Givenchy’s monochrome skater shoes, the quirky and fun collection showcases sneakers at their best,” said Harrods Fashion Director Helen David.
“Following on from last year’s highly successful Silver Linings range, Catch Me If You Can brings a sense of genuine luxury to what were once streetwear essentials, but are now part of everyone’s wardrobe.”
Alongside the Catch Me if You Can collection, Harrods is launching a Sneaker Wars game within the its app that will be in a Candy Crush-style format featuring 22 exclusive pairs of designer sneakers.
Players will be challenged to score a maximum number of points in three minutes by aligning three or more shoes to generate points.
