Pierre Toussaint & AM Eyewear collaborate on SAINT collection for SS15

The SAINT collaboration between Pierre Toussaint and AM Eyewear transpired out of a shared desire for superior optics. As a leading fashion photographer, Pierre understands the need for a precision lens, and so chooses to shoot using ZEISS photographic lenses.

Having honed their skills in the optics industry over 10 years, AM Eyewear is constantly striving to produce the highest quality frames possible, which has lead them to co-brand with Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens, to use their superior Italian-made ZEISS lenses in their sunglasses.

When Pierre Toussaint first had the idea to create a range of sunglasses to raise money for eye research, having worked with the brand previously, he immediately thought of AM Eyewear as the ideal partner to aide in the design and manufacture of the collection. Together with the support of Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens, the SAINT / AM EYEWEAR collaboration was born.

Three limited edition, unique and feminine shapes named after the idyllic locations of St Barts, St Tropez and St Lucia have been created and are each available in multiple colour ways. This aspirational collection reflects a premium aesthetic and quality that is integral to both Pierre & AM Eyewear's practice.

With the backing of numerous high-profile celebrities and models, a generous contribution of all lenses for this collaboration from Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens, and a further 10% of all sales being donated to Optometry Giving Sight, the SAINT / AM EYEWEAR collaboration hopes to provide much needed support to the millions of people around the world who are needlessly blind or vision impaired – simply because they can’t access an eye exam and corrective eyewear.
