Jerome C. Rousseau has designed a beautiful new shoe inspired by one of the most anticipated films of 2013,
Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful, an exclusive version of which will be featured and available to buy on shoescribe.com starting from March 7th, 2013
"I wanted to design a shoe that captured the flamboyant and whimsical nature of Oz The Great and Powerful”, said Jerome of his first thoughts for the style.
“I spontaneously gravitated towards the vibrant color palette and the geometrical elements in the set design.
I was also inspired by elements of the costumes which led me to use the glittery mesh fabric combined with the gold leather spiral”
The project’s launch is also the perfect opportunity to celebrate shoescribe.com’s first anniversary as it was launched exactly one year earlier on March 7th, 2012.
For the occasion, Jerome created a beautiful illustration of the shoe that has been printed on premium dust bags to be gifted with every purchase after launch, while supplies last.
