Alexander Wang/ Samsung Print

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd recently announced an exciting collaboration with New York-based designer Alexander Wang. The designer, who has recently joined Balenciaga was challenged to create the industry’s first designer print, inspired by crowd-sourced sketches and images using the GALAXY Note II. Leveraging the GALAXY Note II’s inherent create-and-share benefit, Wang has tapped into his own network of stylists, photographers, fashion icons and others to create “doodles” – an image, pattern, or a photo – on their GALAXY Note II.

With doodles from the likes of Jessica Stam and his network of friends, Wang has curated these into one collectively-inspired final print, which we can reveal today!

the final print which will appear on a limited edition bag that will be sold in key markets around the world to raise funds for Art Start; a New York City charity that aims to nurture the creative talents of at-risk children and youth.

Wang comments “Thanks to our closest friends and collaborators, we created a print that embodies their creativity and love for the constant motion, change and speed of NYC. We're so grateful that everyone's collaborative efforts will go towards supporting an amazing charity-Art Start-that helps at risk youth through the arts, culture and music that embodies their creativity and love for the constant motion.”
