DUNE ANNOUNCE SS 13 COLLABORATION WITH JOANNA STOKER

Following on from the huge success of collaborations with Olivia Rubin and Kat Maconie, Dune continues to support up and coming designers with the launch of their collaboration with coveted footwear designer of the moment Joanne Stoker, whose shoes fuse high fashion with intricate detailing to create truly unique collections.

Graduating from the prestigious Cordwainers College in 2009 with a Masters in Footwear Design, Joanne has won many awards including the ITS international competition hosted in Italy, First into Fashion Award with Jimmy Choo and Melanie Rickey, and the Footwear Friends Award sponsored by the British Footwear Association. After graduating she went on to complete a mentorship with Jimmy Choo before establishing her own luxury label in 2011. More recently, Joanne worked alongside Matthew Williamson on his SS/13 show at London Fashion Week.

Joanne’s collection for Dune is inspired by Art Deco seaside towns, such as Blackpool, Brighton and Coney Island, incorporating candy colours and art deco style detailing. Soft suede’s are punctuated with neon pops and glitter piping, creating a dramatic effect.

Joanne says of the collection;

“I’ve really enjoyed working with Dune on the collaboration; I felt we were all on the same wave length in terms of design direction. I was given as much freedom as I needed to design and put the range together and I'm so happy with the final designs. I'm really excited to see it all come together”.

Available from the end of February, the collection comprises six shoe designs and two bags with prices from £70 to £145.
