STELLA JEAN AW 2013 14 #MILAN FASHION WEEK

Stella Jean, Italo-Haitian designer recognized for being one of the emergent talents in both Italian and international scenery, presented her AW 2013 2014 collection with an artistic installation at Marocrossi artecontemporanea gallery.

Stella Jean’s refined and precious style, which is inspired by her multiculturalism, derives from the “Wax & Stripes Phylosophy” inspiration to develop into a further discovery journey with the AW collection. A new chance of match and combination across Mongolia, Africa and Europe.
During the event some models posed wearing Stella Jean looks while an artisic video was projected. The art gallery exhibited simultaneously some works realized by a catalan artist that are in perfect armony with wax prints used by the designer.

Stella Jean is a young and talented Italo-Haitian designer who began her career in fashion by working as a model for Egon Von Fürstenberg, but soon discovered her real creative calling. Her clothes must tell something about her, but at the same time their function is to make their wearer beautiful. Since July 2011, when she was one of the winners of the prestigious Who’s On Next contest, her collections keep being cherished by the international press and the buyer world. The refined and precious mood of Stella Jean designs is unceasingly inspired by her multiculturalism, which she translates into her very own, unmistakable style: the “Wax & Stripes” Philosophy”. Sold globally in the most important fashion stores and worn by the most elegant women in the world, they are an extremely personal interpretation of a timeless style.
