MARNI "CHILDREN'S IMAGINARY WORLD" - Christmas 2012

In a yearly effort to celebrate childhood and nurture youthful creative freedom, MARNI has again collaborated on the special project “Children’s imaginary world”, co-designed by children from around the world.

Children of all ages from underprivileged communities in Colombia, Tibet and Kenya were invited to draw a story about the theme “My country”. Their optimistic thoughts translated into whimsical images, and these were printed on t-shirts in jersey or on canvas which were made into unique, marvelously festive utilitarian tote bags and clutches.

The limited edition CHILDREN’S IMAGINARY WORLD t-shirts, tote bags and clutches will be sold exclusively in MARNI boutiques and on www.marni.com. Proceeds will go towards schools and associations with a wish to encourage learning, explore creativity and raise hopes for a wonderful future.
