BRITISH WOMEN INVITED TO SEE IF THE ULTIMATE MODERN CINDERELLA SLIPPER ‘FITS’
The Walt Disney Company UK launches a national competition to find the lucky winner of the iconic Cinderella slipper, re-‐imagined by world-‐renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin
The winner will receive a pair of the iconic Cinderella Slippers re-‐imagined by Christian Louboutin
The Walt Disney Company UK and Christian Louboutin today launch a one of a kind search to find a special someone who will ‘fit’ a modern day version of the most legendary shoe in the world: the Cinderella slipper. Re-‐interpreted by Christian Louboutin, the handmade shoe is one of only 20 pairs which have been created for this worldwide competition. The lucky winner will then be awarded with a pair of the Cinderella slippers. The search is timed in celebration of the Cinderella Blu-‐rayTM Diamond Edition release on 27th August 2012.
Entrants will be asked to submit their own real or imagined modern Cinderella moment and the entry which best embodies the ideals of the Cinderella fairytale will be awarded with one of the twenty pairs of Christian Louboutin’s Cinderella slippers. Disney will select a shortlist of the top 10 entries which will then be judged by a representative from both Disney and Christian Louboutin to select 3 finalists. The winner will then be selected on 7 October, 2012 and awarded the grand prize.
Submissions begin on Monday 4th September 2012 and run through to midday on Monday 24 September, 2012. Entrants are invited to answer the free text question: “Describe your very own real or imagined modern Cinderella moment for which the Limited Edition Cinderella inspired Christian Louboutin shoes would be worn in 250 words or less”.
