NICOLE FARHI ANNOUNCES WINNER OF GRADUATE COMPETITION IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL


NICOLE FARHI and the British Fashion Council are delighted to announce that a winner has been selected for their Graduate Competition 2012. Joseph McGee from the Royal College of Art has won a three month paid internship working alongside the Design Team at Nicole Farhi.





A senior panel of judges including Anne Tyrrell, Chair of the BFC Colleges Council; Caroline Rush, CEO, BFC and Nicole Farhi, Creative Director, Nicole Farhi chose the winning graduate based on their portfolio, written case study and final presentation.

It was a closely contested competition on and the three finalists who came highly commended in the competition were Louise Bennetts, Edinburgh College of Art; Kyle Graham Spires, Royal College of Art and Vic Riches, Kingston University.

Nicole Farhi, Creative Director said; "I am thrilled that Nicole Farhi in partnership with the BFC will offer a talented graduate the opportunity to experience the fashion business first hand.






Joseph’s final presentation perfectly captured the Nicole Farhi customer and we loved his commercial designs and beautiful illustrations. We look forward to Joseph joining the team.” Caroline Rush, CEO, BFC, commented “We are pleased to be working with Nicole Farhi on this great competition to showcase the exceptional young talent coming out of UK colleges and Universities. Joseph showed real empathy with and enthusiasm for the brand alongside an exceptional presentation, he is a well deserved winner.”
