PRESENTED ITALO ZUCCHELLI’S
FALL 2012 MEN’S RUNWAY SHOW IN MILAN
MILAN, ITALY, JANUARY 15, 2012 – Calvin Klein Collection announced today that the brands’ Men’s Creative Director, Italo Zucchelli, presented his Fall 2012 Calvin Klein Collection runway show at the company’s European headquarters earlier this afternoon.
Mr. Zucchelli presented 46 looks to an audience that included musicians Joe Jonas and Charlie Siem, who were each wardrobed in looks designed by Mr. Zucchelli.
Mr. Zucchelli described the new collection as an urban inspired take on timeless sportswear essentials. Classics were updated with oversized proportions and tactile materials. Reflecting the textures and colors of city life, fabrics included cashmere, alpaca, mohair, merino and tweed in a tonal palette of camel, navy, grey heather, gotham and black. A diffused light print seen in suiting and outerwear added a graphic vibrancy to the collection. Looks were paired with detachable hoodies designed in luxurious alligator, felted wool and quilted nylon, as well classic lace ups and loafers modernized with a slim, polished aesthetic or a more rugged, textural look.
