ZIMS has been a 12 month odyssey for company directors Nick and Lindsey Mundy to create a beautiful classic shoe based on traditional skills and influences.
In a tiny workshop in the shadow of the Matopo Hills in Africa, the inspiration for ZIMS was born. The original shoe was simple in design, extremely comfortable and beautifully hand-stitched in local leather with recycled rubber soles. After just one wear Nick was smitten and they became his firm favourites. Soon friends requested a pair and so began the evolution of ZIMS.
ZIMS we about quality, style and comfort. An outer shell of soft leather or suede, lined in fine leather, and designed in an appealing range of natural colours. Each shoe is handmade by skilled shoemakers, who take great pride in their work from the cutting of the leather to the careful stitching, all contributing to the quality and durability of ZIMS.
