From March 1st -10th, two legendary addresses in the world of Fashion, CHANEL, 31 rue Cambon and COLETTE, 213 rue Saint-Honoré, will be blending their creative talents to open an ephemeral boutique at 336-340 rue Saint-Honoré. Stretching over 200 m², the boutique will be assembled in the industrial surroundings of a former garage.
This spontaneous and eclectic installation will combine fashion, visual arts and musical performances, resulting in a fun-fuelled, creative mix by CHANEL and COLETTE with a rock ‘n’ roll vibe.
The headlining creations from the CHANEL 2011 Spring-Summer collection will be juxtaposed with a selection of pieces from young designers chosen by COLETTE.
Legendary CHANEL bags and this season’s designs, including a MADEMOISELLE bag in the famous COLETTE colour, will be originally customised by various artists such as Kevin Lyons, Soledad, André, Fafi and SO-ME.
Meanwhile, LEMARIÉ will unveil the secrets of the camellia, offering a selection of blue, black and white camellia.
ÉRES will be included in the mix, with pieces from its collection in a palette of black and iridescent hues that will beautifully contrast with Maison MICHEL’s spotted veils.
Also waiting to be discovered, or rediscovered, is a selection of books published by Éditions 7L and back issues of Visionaire magazine.
Even more playful and unusual surprises await in the form of a collector’s doll by Karl Lagerfeld, CHANEL bags customised by CHROME HEARTS, YAZBUKEY bag charms, RUBY helmets, and cameras by LEICA. Amongst these must have items, COLETTE compilation CDs and scented candles are not forgotten.
Other aesthetic and delectable treats include the CHANEL nail bar and a cupcake bar from CHEZ BOGATO.
A special playlist created by Michel Gaubert provides the finishing touch, available to all boutique customers.

Friends of CHANEL are special guests invited to discover the in-house DJs, and five artists invited by COLETTE, who will be customising CHANEL bags, upon request.
