MY 3 FAVOURITE VINTAGE SHOPS IN LONDON....

THE GOOD....

THE LOFT
35 Monmouth Street
Covent Garden
London
WC2H 9DD
020 7240 3807

Nice and friendly staff, stock most of the usual suspects, Gucci, Prada, Dolce, Chanel, you name it they have for both men and women.  This shop is unique as most of the clothes are new as they may have only been used on the catwalk or film shoots.

Rating 8/10  Definite place to go when shopping vintage.

THE VINTAGE SHOWROOM
14 Earlham Street
Seven Dials
Covent Garden
London
WC2H 9LN
020 7836 3964

Very friendly staff the guy who looked after me could not do enough very impressive.  The showroom is an Heritage store but has wonderful clothes.  There is something for everyone not the usual suspects when it comes to designers so use you imagination, some pieces remind me of the clothes in the film "The Talented Mr Ripley".

Rating 7/10  worth a visit, their address is in my diary!!

BANG BANG SOHO
9 Berwick Street
London
W1F 0PJ
020 7494 2042

So so staff, but a generous offering of the usual suspect designers.  There is a second store in Goodge street, London offering much the same, once again if you go in there is something for everyone.

Rating 5.5/10 but worth a visit, will keep them in my diary.

AND OF COURSE THERE MUST BE A UGLY....

MUSIC & GOODS EXCHANGE
28 Pembridge Road
London
W11
020 7221 0767

This has to be the most unique out of all the shops whether it be records, homewares, Gucci, Prada you name it they have it, but a bit low with the hangbags though.  Customer service is a sore point I called and told them I wanted to sell a LV suitcase to which they were interested, when I arived it was a different story they seemed a bit surprised I was a man of colour.  They made every excuse and spoke in a different language it was as though they were implying I was a possible "Crackhead".  If you like designer drama this is the place to go.

Rating 2/10 staying clear of this place.
