REVIEW - “DEVOTION” DOLCE&GABBANA MEN FALL WINTER 2013/14

Absolute devotion to tailoring, devotion to cut, devotion to fabrics and devotion to details.

Devotion to family, devotion to religion and devotion to love.

The protagonists of the fashion show are once again Sicilian guys and men chosen by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The personalities and natural beauty of their faces continue to be the source of inspiration of Dolce&Gabbana.

Black for coats, suits, velvets and cashmere.
Grey for coats, suits, T-shirts, vests and embroideries. White for poplin shirts, inlaid shirts and for lace pillow-style embroidered jackets and shirts. Colour for jackets and silk T-shirts printed with flowers and for cotton embroidered T-shirts. Needlepoint flowers on velvet jackets and coats.Prints for T-shirts printed with religious icons. Velvet shoes, needlepoint embroidered shoes and black leather Sicilian-style shoes.

It's always a pleasure to attend the Dolce&Gabbana show and check out the detailing that's what floats my boat with their collections. Sicily can be seen right through the collection which carries on from the SS 13 collection and with the floral back drop of the Metropol where the show was help ... The scene was set. The invitation sort of gave a small clue that the collection would be flowered inspired but what was delivered the prints, the embellishments, bell sleeve tops, high waisted trousers and laced blazers, cropped tailored jackets and waistcoats was truly spectacular!!!! Fab accessories great looking shows and fashion forward as always with this collection which is going to be great for editorials and for the man on the street.

Verdict - Amazing! Looking forward to seeing the ladies show and see how well both collections marry each other ......
