The new Marni boutique of 182 square meters in Tianjin Galaxy Mall is featuring two distinct entrances to allow a natural circulation route which tells a story as it leads the shopper through the space.
A sinuous steel rail around the perimeter, leads through the RTW zone, through shoes and on to accessories. The zones are punctuated by circular displays with plush rugs and velvet-clad seating. The backlit fibreglass boxes in larger size and squared form allow more flexibility in display, while set into polished stainless steel walls, and add a dramatic focal point to the shop. The facade is kept clean and simple with scattered hanging mannequins creating a feeling of lightness. The palette is warm and calm, while the teak floor, a neutral base over which contrasting textures are layered, form the perfect backdrop to the Marni collections.
Consuelo Castiglioni has worked closely with architecture firm Sybarite to create a clean and elegant setting, which provides unexpected and captivating ways of presenting the Marni ready-to- wear and accessories collections.
