BRITISH LABEL CROWN LOVE LAUNCHES T-SHIRT COLLECTION

British fashion label Crown Love launches its first contemporary collection of young womenswear graphic printed ethical t-shirts and vests. The new cult label takes inspiration from Britain’s history, combined with quirky printed graphics and iconic slogans.

The name Crown Love derives from a Regal presence and respect for love, fashion, art and life. Inspired by the love story of Edward VIII who gave up his throne to marry the twice divorced American Wallis Simpson. The messaging is reflected in the prints with slogans such as ‘Would Give It All Up For Love’ and ‘In Love With A Prince’.

Crown Love transmits a feeling of idyllic young romance, with an ironic humorous twist. The feel of the collection is young, the image is geared towards edgy and carefree fashionistas with a certain bohemian lifestyle.

Key pieces in the collection include ‘Tutti Frutti’ print vest, ‘Queen of Hearts’ racer back vest, ‘London Boys Forever’ slogan cropped t-shirt, ‘Clown Love’ graphic printed organic cotton t-shirt and the retro ‘Sex and The City’ inspired slogan cropped t-shirt ‘I Love You But I Love Me More’.
For AW12 Crown Love will be introducing scarves, sweat tops, hoodies and leggings. Prices range from £22 - £37.50
