SELFRIDGES/ THE CAMPAIGN FOR WOOL EVENT

Selfridges kicked off 'Wool Week' with a drinks party to celebrate wool and why we like it, 'The Campaign For Wool' who's Patron is HRH The Prince of Wales .  Guests were treated to champagne, networked and mingled whilst listening to the sweet sounds of singer Alexander Stewart.  The night was an overall success with a great ambiance with guests such as Ozwald Boateng, Prince Cassius and myself.

Day 6

Where: Odeon Leicester Square



Last show of London Fashion week and it had to be Osawald Boateng.  The stars were out in force Lisa Butcher, Nate James, Piers Morgan, Vanessa Feltz, Mica Paris, Jo Wood and many many more, I knew it was going to be a big production that was organised.  After the celebs entered we were shown to our seats to enjoy Moet & Chandon Champagne and relaxing music.

The show starts with a short and informative film about the man himself, lights go up on the runaway and the show starts.  The first thing you notice is cut, detail, then colour.  The pieces young but can be worn across all ages, my favourites were the drop crotch trousers, leather jackets and the colour injection pieces in turquoise, deep pinks, plums, greens and course black and blue.

It was a fast pace show, showcasing just what this man is capable of and more, the oversize bags the list is endless and the collection had many pieces.  Ive taken a few shots the best I could, so you can see the said production but I do recommend you go it store and check out Mr Boateng's collections or visit http://www.ozwaldboateng.co.uk/ for an intro into his world.   The best menswear show by far! "The boy did good, he is genius"
