MY THOUGHTS - Jason WU AW 15/16 #NYFW

All hail the king! Jason Wu killed it and is killing it with his AW 15 collection presented in New York ... this is one of the first shows in season's or even years that I can honestly say every look is or was a winner ... it a tough one to pick a favourite Look ... cos ladies and gentleman ... we got a hot one!!!

“Beauty”

The Spring/Summer 2015 collection is a refined, glamorous take on American Sportswear, rendered in elevated fabrics and couture inspired flourishes. A silk tweed mimics denim, while sporty tees are enveloped in delicate corded lace and silk organza. Suede, leather, and silk canvas add rich textures to clean and modern lines. Jason was drawn to the impeccable style of Charlotte Rampling as this season’s inspiration, with Burnt Umber, Basil, Navy, Limestone and Flame Red as the key color palette that evokes a mysterious, sensual beauty.

This season introduces the Diane Bag, created with Jason’s perennial muse, Diane Kruger. The Diane shoulder bag embodies modern femininity, with fluid lines molded in supple calf leather, exotic python and crocodile. Jason’s signature light gold hardware adds polish and utilitarian edge. Also new this season is the Charlotte tote which features origami folds covered in polished leather and canvas that strikes a sophisticated mix of textures
