Emilio Pucci | Spring Summer 2015
Happy and carefree, saturated in the mood-enhancing colours of the sunset. Peter Dundas presents an Emilio Pucci collection showered in the optimism of summer. Inspired by and dedicated to the girls he loves both today and from past eras, Dundas’ clothes slide on with an easy insouciance, yet radiate with major impact.
1970s music poster art spins the prints and patterns, creating a slight psychedelic vibe. Tie dyes stream down filmy chiffon dresses, while patterns of Positano pottery have been knitted into terrycloth tunics. Crochet is reinterpreted with intricate bead work embroideries on mini or maxi dresses. The Lance spearhead print, fresh from the Pucci archives, is newly coloured and engineered in jersey, gauze or cotton voiles.
