Paolita at Dolci Follie Summer Swimwear Soirée!

The clouds dispersed and let the sunshine through just in time for this extra-special event showcasing the sensational swimwear by Anna Paola of Paolita!







As guests entered the boutique, they feasted their eyes on an entire wall of fabulous Paolita pieces, from delightfully demure one-pieces and fun and frilled patterned bikinis, to effortlessly chic sheer lace cover-ups. The stunning Laetitia modeled select pieces, striking a pose whilst greeting guests!







Sipping a refreshing cranberry cocktail or two,  guests chatted to Paolita designer Anna Paola about her drive and passion, and the inspiration behind the designs.





 
Simona Walters, owner of Dolci Follie, said "We hosted this event to spark the start of the summer, and all the great things we have to look forward in London, and at the Dolci Follie boutique over the next few months. We like to give our customers that little something extra. Events like this, where they can bring their partner or perhaps a few friends and enjoy a relaxed browse through our collection and meet the people behind the products are what we're all about".

Paolita's exclusive t-shirts to celebrate SS12 collection

Paolita’s Exclusive T-shirt Collection





Paolita is well-known for its exotic prints, bright colours and bold designs, so what happens when the elements of Paolita collide with a plain white t-shirt? Thanks to Maison Twenty, who selected Paolita to feature in this project, the result is a trio of ‘must-have’ designs to wear on and off the beach!

Paolita’s exclusive t-shirt collection boasts nautical influences, with eye-catching red and blue rope designs that recall the ‘Voyage’ theme.







Anna Paola goes back to her Mexican roots and incorporates images such as the skull of the ‘Santa Muerte’ (Saint of Death). The vivid colours of the designs pay homage to images from Mexican Folk art.

This collection would not be complete without Paolita’s trademark ‘bird’ motif, which features in exotic hues of purple, turquoise, lime and mustard yellow. The rope bird ties the trio together, to create a uniform collection that is fun, vibrant and unique.

Maison Twenty is diversity united by talent, a visionary unit comprising twenty emerging artists/designers from the UK. From multi-disciplined backgrounds, each artist has designed three t-shirts for this collaboration – founded by artist Dannielle Hodson and entrepreneur, Kevin Dixie, Maison Twenty is supported by one of the UK’s largest garment printers, TOT Shirts Ltd.

London’s bridge isn't falling down, it's got babes in bikini's!

On the 19th October, Paolita was the first swimwear brand to strut the 61 metre long Catwalk of London’s Tower Bridge! At one of the world’s finest landmarks, and 44 metres off the ground, Paolita’s 2012 collection rocked the iconic bridge.






On and off the catwalk, Paolita turned up the heat at the J Autumn Fashion Show. Anna Paola, Creative Director of Paolita, sported her new Josephine beach dress, which will be officially launched in early November.

The organiser, J Model Management, showcased the most spectacular collections by top designers. The show was choreographed by the international movement director K.Knight, renowned for his work with Beyonce, Kylie Minogue, and MTV.
