French fashion label Maje has announced model and TV presenter Alexa Chung as the face of its AW 2012/13 advertising campaign. Photographed by Glen Luchford, the campaign was shot in Paris at the Porte des Lilas Metro station where black and white photographs of Alexa were taken, reminiscent of film stills from the 1960's.

Asprey is delighted to announce the launch of the Life ring at Vogue’s Fashion Night Out yesterday.

Henry announced at last night’s FNO official launch event, which took place at the Asprey store on New Bond Street, that he would be gifting his four closest friends Alexa Chung, Agyness Deyn, Pixie Geldoff and Nick Grimshaw with the iconic Life ring. Henry’s gifting was the perfect representation of the connotations of love and friendship held by the ring. These stylish, current and distinguished British opinion formers mirror the ring’s iconic qualities.

This nautically inspired ring in 18ct gold was designed with a contemporary take on the life buoy found on all nautical vessels. A universally appealing symbol of rescue, hope and life at sea, this nautical classic has great meaning in maritime history. The central rotating rope (in white or yellow gold) set within a solid band of gold gives the ring an unusual yet classic twist. Asprey’s designers combing the Asprey archives, which abound with nautically themed designs, were inspired by a marine key ring to create this unisex ring, which symbolises love, friendship and life.
