Detroit watch manufacturer Shinola has teamed up with American fashion photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber for a new brand campaign, highlighting the unique sense of style, history and passion of the city of Detroit.
Shinola’s 2013 brand campaign introduced the craftspeople behind their products. This year they continue to explore the beauty of manufacturing, while capturing the spirit of Detroit that drove them there in the first place. Responsible for some of the most memorable fashion campaigns of our age, for this shoot Bruce Weber returned to rediscover a city he photographed nearly a decade ago (Kate Moss for W Magazine, 2006).
Weber’s vision includes a varied group of locally-cast individuals photographed alongside supermodel Carolyn Murphy.
These are Shinola’s neighbours, colleagues and collaborators - a celebration of the city through the lens of an American icon.
