Carrera ski athlete Tina Maze wins gold medal in Sochi

A-MAZE-ING: TINA MAZE, CARRERA’S ATHELETE, GETS GOLD IN SOCHI!

Alpine Ski champion, Tina Maze, proudly sponsored by Carrera, won her first gold medal in the women’s Olympic downhill in Sochi today!

For the first time an Olympic alpine ski race ended in a tie for the gold medal as Tina Maze (Slovenia) and Dominique Gisin (Switzerland) both won the women's downhill.

The talented skier wears Carrera’s new carbon fibre Fireball Helmet.

The helmet  is made with the exclusive dual-density Conehead foam liner which reduces  the overall volume of the helmet, makes it lighter and accentuates the aerodynamics.

Tina also wears the brand’s new Kimerik Reload ski goggles which have a much larger visual span than previous goggles and feature the revolutionary MPS Evolution adjustable nose bridge.

This enables the goggles to be regulated perfectly both vertically and horizontally.

With her exuberant, audacious, competitive and energetic personality, Tina Maze fully embodies the racing attitude which is embedded in Carrera’s DNA and its unmistakable values.

Congrats Tina!

The CARRERA collection of ski helmets and goggles is produced and distributed by Safilo Group.
