CATH KIDSTON OPENS ITS LARGEST STORE IN THE WORLD AT 180 PICCADILLY

On Thursday 5th December, 180 Piccadilly will open its doors to the largest Cath Kidston store in the world. Launched in the brand’s 20th Birthday year, the 7070 square feet store is a far cry from the small shop in West London where the home of modern vintage began.

To celebrate the flagship store launch a giant 3m x 5m Christmas present will be revealed at Marble Arch. The ticking clock will count down the minutes until the grand reveal of Cath Kidston’s Gift to London at 8.30am on 5th December...
The streets from Green Park to Piccadilly Circus will be awash with clean graffiti in the brands’ iconic floral print peppered with London pigeon footprints whilst the first 180 customers through the doors at 9.30am on the day of launch will receive gift vouchers of up to £180. Over 20,000 products will be displayed across three floors including home, accessories, fashion and kids. The super-sized home of modern vintage will play host to various new ranges and services:

Introducing...The Cath Kidston bespoke furniture upholstery service. For the first time customers can browse their favourite prints, old and new and create a unique sofa or chair for their home.

Introducing...The Piccadilly Print range. Capturing the bright lights of the big city and new home of the brand the hand-drawn Piccadilly Print range pays homage to the Big Smoke’s icons - including double decker buses, black taxis and pigeons of London.



Introducing...The Christmas House. 1 in 4 women aged between 18 and 65 own at least one piece of Cath Kidston, making it the UK’s most popular destination for Christmas gifting. The Christmas House is a treasure trove of gift suggestions with over 860 Christmas products for all ages easily available.

We are so excited about the London flagship launch and delighted that we have found this perfect landmark site in Piccadilly. It fits our brand perfectly."

During the festive period the store will be filled with all sorts of customer activity including Christmas carolers and chances to make a Christmas wish for your favourite products, while customers will be given tips on wrapping and present purchases. NB. If you are ‘lucky’ enough to get pooped on by a pigeon the 180 Piccadilly store team will brighten up your day with a brand new t-shirt!
