rag & bone's D.I.Y. features Marie Ange Casta and Nana

Originally conceived in Spring 2011 for rag & bone/JEAN and featuring some of rag & bone's favorite girls such as Miranda Kerr, Lily Aldridge, Karolina Kurkova, Candice Swanepoel, Carolyn Murphy and Mina Shin, the D.I.Y. Project sought to flip the traditional photo-shoot on its head. Each girl was given a digital camera, a bag of clothes and the same remit – to interpret rag & bone/JEAN in their own individual way. The result is an intimate and raw collection of photographs that depict each girl's unique perspective and personality.

"We chose Marie Ange and Nana for the D.I.Y. Project as they're both exciting new international talent. They also happen to look great in rag & bone/JEAN! ," - rag & bone's Marcus Wainwright.

"What we really like about both girls' D.I.Y. Projects is that they were both obviously passionate about the locations they shot at," adds rag & bone's David Neville.

Marie Ange was shot by friend and agent Delphine at a host of iconic Paris landmarks, including the banks of the Seine and in the Tuileries Garden.

The gorgeous model-actress explained of her shoot location: "Paris is a magnificent city where I've been living for the past five years and I wanted to highlight my French origins in the pictures."

Nana's shoot took place in Shibuya where she enlisted the help of her close friend and photographer, Yuya Okuda to capture her images.

"It is where I was discovered by a model agent so Shibuya is to me a place where my career started. Also it has become my dream place to my home over the years."

Of her shoot, Nana shares: "The noise, the smell, the drunken people - I felt like I tasted the fast changing city very slowly through the night."
