Cesare Casadei, creative director of Casadei, and Prabal Gurung, have renewed their collaboration for the Casadei for Prabal Gurung Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
The collection seamlessly blends the inspiration behind the ready to wear collection with Casadei’s refined craftsmanship and aesthetic. The collaboration consists of adapted styles from a newly launched pump to be seen in Cesare Casadei’s upcoming season. The modern sophistication of Prabal Gurung and the seductive elegance of Casadei synergize to create the Spring/Summer 2014 Casadei for Prabal Gurung collection.
Soft, ethereal colors of white, pale pink, mint green and lilac juxtapose with bold solids of red, blue and bright green to create a symphony of color. A black and white color-block anchors the collection with strong neutrals.
Satin, leather and vinyl overlap to give a bold, yet sophisticated, feel to the classic pump. The three styles escalate in framing the foot as a demure pump slowly transforms into a finely strapped latticed sling-back.
Cesare and Prabal continue to work together in blending their visions to create beautiful footwear for the season.
The CASADEI FOR PRABAL GURUNG SPRING SUMMER 2014 collection will be sold at select multi-brand retailers and department stores in fashion capitals worldwide
