MARTINE ROSE SS 14 - LONDN COLLECTIONS

Yesterday Martine Rose presented her SS 14 collection to waiting press and bloggers at London Collections MEN.  The collection takes inspiration from the way we decorate spaces and how spaces are often a reflection and an extension of our own individual style.  The key theme for SS 14 is a range of t shirts  featuring collage chair prints made to lookalike posters taped onto the front of the t shirts in white , black and marl grey.

There is a heavy sportswear influence with familiar and similar shapes and signature styles such as the MA-1 Bomber.  There are new trouser silhouettes which are introduced this season with 70s I spires slim leg trousers with pin tuck detailing.  

The presentation and collection was clean and streamlined ... Colourful palettes have been rejected and this season focused on black and white with splashes of said colour on t shirts.
