GIORGIO ARMANI BRINGS ITS TWEET TALKS TO CANNES

Giorgio Armani is pleased to announce that it will be holding the next in its series of Armani Tweet Talks in Cannes, in conjunction with the opening of the first Giorgio Armani boutique and the simultaneous unveiling of the new Armani/Caffè, both located at 42 Boulevard de la Croisette. 

The talks will take place tomorrow at 12pmon the terrace of the Giorgio Armani/Caffè and it will be broadcasted ontweettalks.armani.com on the 28th of May. 

The Tweet Talk in Cannes will focus on fashion and film. The panellists featured include: Zachary Quinto (actor and film producer), Derek Blasberg (Harper’s Bazaar Editor-at-large and V Magazine editor), among others. 

Launched last year, the Armani Tweet Talks are a series of discussions held globally in which experts in their field are invited to debate issues that concern fashion, both as an industry and as a cultural phenomenon. 

The discussions are moderated by Peter Howarth, CEO of London creative agency Show Media. To date these have included such influential figures as Angelica Cheung, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue China, fashion blogger Susie Bubble, Editor-in-Chief of British GQ, Dylan Jones, and Fashion Editor of The Times, Laura Craik. 

The inaugural Armani Tweet Talk took place in Beijing a year ago with the topic: China and fashion. This was followed by a Tweet Talk in London on the occasion of the 2012 Olympics, looking at fashion and sport. 

Each Tweet Talk is tweeted by the participants and through the Armani Tweet Talks platform.
