Zegna’s Paul Surridge Hosted International Fashion Hangout
VIP lineup to offer an insider’s look at the art of the fashion show
The Ermenegildo Zegna Group announced the third Hangout with Paul Surridge, Creative Director of the contemporary Z Zegna line, which took place on May 29th. Intended for fashion professionals – from designers to fashion stylists and buyers – as well as fashion-enthusiasts worldwide, the discussion focuses on the approach that a brand should have during a fashion show, in order to be able to speak at the same time with: bloggers, journalist, wholesalers and buyers and in general to all the relative stakeholders of a fashion show.
Paul was joined by leading journalists, stylists and fashion buyers including Karla Welch (A-List stylist), Eric Jennings (VP Fashion Director, Saks Fifth Avenue), as well as Simone Marchetti (La Repubblica) who moderated the discussion. Since pioneering its presence on Google+ with the innovative page Zegna: the Modern Man’s Manual late last year, the Zegna Group has attracted more than 250,000 followers.
Zegna: the Modern Man’s Manual is an enhanced editorial guide featuring style tips and trends for today’s contemporary gentleman. The page, located at plus.google.com/+Zegna, represents part of Zegna’s multi-faceted digital strategy designed to enable the worldwide luxury brand to more effectively connect with its fans, encourage interaction and facilitate the exchange of ideas. Based on a dual passion for innovative experiences and luxury menswear, Ermenegildo Zegna has developed a rich array of social media activities ranging from the impressive Zegna LIVE App to the content-rich Zegna.com website and the face-to-face sharing atmosphere of Google+. Together, these initiatives form part of Zegna’s global digital platform with which the brand is able to listen and respond to its customers in a powerful and influential way.
