Following the recent openings in Tokyo Aoyama, Beijing Sunlitun, Copenhagen, Geneva, Vienna, Naples and Rome, Moncler opens its new boutique in Cannes, one of the most exclusive resorts on the Côte d’Azur. The store network of the Maison rise to 75 freestanding boutiques.
Vivacious and glamorous city, acclaimed cinema capital with its celebrated Festival and iconic location of the international jet set, Cannes is the perfect blend of Mediterranean nature and high society. Moncler has chosen the legendary and very central boulevard de la Croisette, graced by palm trees, cafes, and elegant Belle Époque hotels, for its new boutique. This French opening joins the other single-brand boutiques in Paris and those in the mountain resorts of Chamonix, Megève and Courchevel. It marks another prestigious stage in the busy schedule of openings developed by the Maison, which focuses on the world’s most attractive shopping, cultural and tourism cities, to complement its consolidated presence in the most exclusive winter resorts.
The public is welcomed into a warm, well-lit and ultra-contemporary 77 m2 boutique, in harmony with the sparkling atmosphere of the city. The internal design, entrusted to Gilles & Boissier, matches French boiserie in carved wood with embossed floral motifs for the walls to the honey coloured marble floors. An elegant, relaxed, intimate style, which speaks of Moncler’s roots and projects them into the modern world.
