The Louis Vuitton Cup collection is a new range of ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories designed for sailing enthusiasts as well as 'urbanites' seeking a nautical style. All of the products have been designed to be waterproof, windproof and endure extreme conditions. Key styles in the new collection include trousers and shorts which have undergone a water-proofing treatment, with 'anti-wind' pockets at the front and waterproof pockets at the back. Bags in the LV Cup Damier Challenge line (pictured here) have waterproof canvas and zips to protect the surface in tandem with a stain repellent. A shoe collection features a modern twist on the classic deck shoe (pictured above). The outside of the shoe is made in Idrotech certified leather, while the breathable lining includes Air-Tech technology which lets out water and allows air to circulate, to aid the drying process. Among the accessories in the Louis Vuitton Cup collection are binoculars with Carl Zeiss optical lenses, as well as two styles of glasses. The complete collection will arrive in selected stockists next month.
