CFDA ANNOUNCE FASHION TARGETS BREAST CANCER DESIGNER/RETAIL COLLABORATIONS




FASHION TARGETS BREAST CANCER

ANNOUNCES DESIGNER AND RETAILER COLLABORATIONS FOR FALL
 
CFDA'S CHARITABLE INITIATIVE EXPANDING ITS PRESENCE  -  Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC), a charitable initiative of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), is excited to announce the launch of numerous new programs, retail collaborations, and event participation, including our domestic and international visibility.

 

Nine West:  For the 4th year in a row, Nine West joins forces with FTBC to raise awareness and money for breast cancer. During the week of October  15 – October 22, with each purchase in store or online of $125 or more, Nine West will donate $25 to FTBC. As a thank you to customers for their purchase and donation, they will receive a Nine West /FTBC branded canvas tote featuring the hashtag #9WFTBC, to reinforce the campaign conversation. In addition to the automatic donation, customers will also have the option of adding $1 or more to their purchase or an "add your change" opt-in at the register to donate to FTBC.  

 

2013 International Campaign: Starting on October 7th,www.FashionTargetsBreastCancer.com will launch the new FTBC branded items, including an iPhone case and charm bracelet for $34.99 and $25.00, respectively. In addition, the FTBC t-shirt will continue to be available for purchase at $34.99, which incorporates the original FTBC logo designed by Ralph Lauren and is located on the lower right side of the shirt. Both the e-commerce site and the specialty products were designed and developed by Villency Design Group.

 

SoulCycle Charity Ride: On Thursday, October 24, CFDA Member Jennifer Fisher along with celebrity co-Hosts Kelly Ripa and Anderson Cooper will be hosting a Charity Ride for FTBC, led by SoulCycle's Laurie Cole at the West Village SoulCycle located at 126 Leroy Street. This ride is generously underwritten by CFDA Board of Director, Carole Hochman. The first row bikes will be sold for $1200, second row for $600, and last row for $300. First row bikes will also include a "Fighter" cuff from Jennifer Fisher and a FTBC t-shirt.
