SMART TURNOUT FLAGSHIP STORE LAUNCH....

Last night I popped along to the Smart Turnout launch party to celebrate the launch of their very first flagship store. They are excited, I'm excited and you should be too... The new store is located at Princes Arcade, Piccadilly in London and could not be located better.. The clothing as you may know is preppy with a capital P you can't get more preppy. The clothing and accessories incorporate stripes and these are from Harvard, British regiments etc they all had a meaning.. Cricket sweaters to die for (great Xmas presents) ties, watches and my favourite the bags.....

Be sure to check out the new store it's a great shopping experience and great clothing to boot! The clothing are fashion forward ....

The quintessentially British brand is the brainchild of former Scots Guards officer Philip Turner. Having had his racing colours knitted for the Grand Military Gold Cup at Sandown, Philip looked to source a quality jumper in his regimental colours. Unable to find a retailer, he set out to make his own and it wasn’t long before his attire caught the eye of his fellow Guardsmen. Soon, Philip was producing not only jumpers, but ties, socks and a whole host of accessories. Jump forward ten years, and Smart Turnout has well and truly transformed from a regimental retailer to a fully-fledged menswear line, worn by celebrities the world over including: Ewan McGregor, Jason Sudeikis One Direction, JLS, and Blake Griffin.

Opening just in time for Christmas, the store will feature the brand’s much-coveted accessories range of bags, bow ties, braces and belts, as well as watches, socks and cufflinks, alongside design driven knitwear and outerwear in the traditional spirit of Christmas day gift ideas.
The store opens less than a year after a successful accessory pop-up for the brand in iconic department store Selfridges and further enhances the brand’s plans to grow within the menswear space.

Smart Turnout is now open at 2-4 Princes Arcade, St James’ London, SW1Y 6DS.

Smart Turnout - Be Warned.
Their merchandise is based on colours that represent and are owned by seriously established institutions. Smart Turnout does not own these colours, and any implied statement by them that they do, or that anyone is entitled to wear these items is misrepresentation.
They claim their Eton tie is inspired by the colours of Eton and that anyone can wear it. Wrong. It is the Old Etonian Tie. It does not belong to Smart Turnout. It is not theirs to sell. And you should not be wearing it unless you are an Old Etonian.
So despite Smart Turnout's sales representation, you shouldn't be wearing any of this stuff unless you are entitled to.
